As we began to cross Pont au Double, we came upon this pair playing tradition French music\u2026I believe the song they were playing was La Mer. The accordion is common in traditional French music and initially, combining\u00a0an\u00a0accordion with a bass seemed odd, but the music was captivating. We listened for quite a while, never gaining our fill and wanting for more. Other interests nudged us after a while and we continued on to other destinations and dinner, which, as I recall, consisted of a baguette, cheese and wine (clich\u00e9 I suppose, but when in Rome, or Paris for that matter\u2026) The two musicians were completely absorbed in their music and took little notice of those passing by or stopping to listen only to\u00a0be\u00a0captivated and transcended into tranquility by their serenade.
