Beginning in 1973, this became my playground and part–time office and for a couple of years, my full-time office. At the end of the day on a particularly snowy and quite day in January 2005 this was the parting view just prior to closing lifts. Unusual in that most often, one will not find snow such as this after skiers and snowboarders have eked out every inch of usable pristine snow. Making final turns of the day, I turned off a run through the trees and found this wonderful, serene, and peace spot. This was the “End of the Day” and a scene that at its location will seldom reveal itself again.
In parting, at the end of a tumultuous year for my wife and me; I leave you with this peaceful scene and wish you peace, health, and all the good things the holidays are to enjoy…
