Kwanzan Cherry
Each year at the beginning of spring, anticipation of three flowering, ornamental trees increases. First to blossom in the Aristocrat Flowering Pear, then the Red Bud (Pam’s favorite — Pam is my gorgeous better half) and then the Kwanzan Cherry (Ornamental Japanese Flowering Cherry). This year, unlike years past, all three are in bloom at the same time. The double flower of the cherry is probably my favorite, but I have to agree with Pam, the Red Bud, when conditions are optimal, is spectacular. I hope you enjoy these spring-time photos…
